Gabriela Martins and Selgil Leblanc win gold in Poomsae

The EUC Taekwondo 2017 started with Poomsae competition, where the Portuguese Gabriela Martins and French Selgi Leblanc won the gold medals.

 

In the female competition, Gabriela Martins, from Porto Politecnic Institute, won the final beating the also Portuguese Tatiana Costal from Lisbon University achieving the gold medal. The two bronze medals went to the french Amelie Leang (Jean Moulin Lyon 3 University) and Johanne Lin Falk (Stockholm School of Economics).

 

The male competition was won by Sergil Leblanc, from Paris Descartes University, beating in the final the spanish Daniel Prisuelos from National University of Distance Education, receiving therefore the silver medal. The two bronze medals went to Spain to Daniel Prisuelos from National University of Distance Education and Arturo Lopez from Autonomous University of Barcelona.

 

On the freestyle competion female, only two medals, both for Portugal, a change of places between the gold and silver of the Poomsae. In freestyle Tatiana Costal won over Gabriela Martins.

 

In the male competition, the gold medal went to Turkey to Oguzhan Mustafa Ornek from Gazi University. The silver went to Arturo Lopez from Autonomous University of Barcelona, while the Bronze medals went to Lee Mocheol from Coventry University (England) and Bruno Fidalgo from Piaget University from Almada, Portugal.
